Voss World Cup | Alex takes second place in moguls and dual moguls

Alex Bilodeau won silver in both moguls event on the Norwegian soil.

Russia’s Alexandr Myshlyaev won Saturday’s gold with 25.51 points, ahead of Bilodeau (25.28 points).

“I felt I had a great take-off, jump and landing”, Bilodeau said.

The same scenario happened on Sunday in dual moguls competition. Kingsbury and Bilodeau, first and second in qualification, outscored their three duals before they met in the final. Alex finished second and won a 47th World Cup medal, tying Jean-Luc Brassard’s record.

“Mikaël did not give me an inch today,” admitted Bilodeau. “I pulled a huge double full on the first jump, but my middle section was not as good as Mik’s. The best skier won today, and he deserved it.”
